From Bloomberg
I thought that Denver Colorado University, the MBA school that invited AGSB t the Seoul Korea at the PACIBER conference was one to the top MBA school for international business.
The list is surprising and interesting. At the top is the Thunderbird of Glendale Arizona (I think that is where Dr. George Fong of AGSB faculty graduated).
Others in the list are:
2. INSEAD
3. IMD
4. London Business School
5. Georgetown
6. IE Business School
7. USC
8. South Carolina
9. IESE
l0. Cornell

Former Classmate, CEO of BPI chosen MAP management man of the Year
From Philstar
Last December 7, 2012, AdeMU class 72 had a ruby (40th year) reunion at BayLeaf (Laurel) Hotel at Intramuros, Manila.
One of the batchmates who attended was Mr. Aurelio Montinola III, the CEO of BPI. Little did I know that days before, Management Association of the Philippines chose him the Management Man of the Year. That achievement must be the earmark of Class 72 AdemU. That of being the best...
Yesterday, I emailed him on how to do business with BPI. He answered my email 30 minutes after (that is fast) and l hour later, his staff, head customer service unit contacted me to refer me to the branch. Wow, that is amazing. No person is too small to be given attention by the CEO (I have other classmates who are not as accessible or kind)
Congratulations Gigi (who looks like Richard Gere!). Mabuhay

Do CEOs with MBA make better CEOs?
From Bloomberg Businessweek?
Does an MBA degree make better CEOs?
What do you think?
From the AFG study and Chief Executive, there is a naughty and nice list. At the top of the list, there are CEOs who contributed to higher shareholder value and there at the bottom of the list, the naughty, CEOs with MBA who were destroyers of stockholder value.
A study by INSEAD professors in 2010 of 1,100 CEOs suggested that there is a correlation between stockholder value growth and MBA. Another study of the same year suggests that there is no relationship.
Why are you taking MBA?
Do you want to create greater value for shareholder?
Can you hold your own with those who did not take MBA?
