What "Duck Dynasty" can teach you about building your business
The TV show "Duck Dynasty" illustrates the problems that can arise if you hire your family members to work at your company, writes Josh Tolan, CEO of Spark Hire. "Before bringing on your cousin, brother or best friend, take a hard look at whether they're as invested in the company as you are," he recommends. The show also demonstrates the importance of establishing a memorable brand and using technology to aid your hiring decisions, Tolan writes. Mashable (7/6)

Ideas for Innovators

How to unlock your innovative spirit
It's important to share your ideas with other people and avoid judging them during the brainstorming process, according to Ant Creed, general manager of DDSTUDIO. Fortune from Failure

Don't neglect to demonstrate the value of your company
Manpreet Singh initially had a hard time attracting customers for his business, which offers a marketing service for small local companies. "We were calling and calling businesses to entice them to join our service, but no one knew who we were and what we did," Singh writes. He eventually realized the need to show people what the company did rather than just talking about its value. Tech Cocktail (7/5)

l.  Find solution to the problem

2. Find a new point of view

3.  Create a new innovation
