Critcal traits of a leader

What is leadership?  Many of us mix up leadership and management or even mistake this for charisma as if magic.

But leadership goes beyond that.  Sometimes it means forcefulness, or sustained forcefulness.  I involves courage and audacity to stand up for what is right and correct.

This office played this song at the start of the VMO brainstorming with the group of doctors.  It was very timely because the gospel last Sunday was about the healing miracle of Lord Jesus Christ;  he healed a blind man by spitting on mud and rubbing this on the eyes of the blind man.  When the blind man washed his eyes with water from a well (spring?) he was able to see again.  This combined with the revisit to the Hippocratic oath awakened the passion of the good doctors to be rekindle their passion to serve God's creature.

Perhaps getting together to put up Dr Shetty's Narayana, Aravind like hospital in the Philippines?
