1.   In a business, we try to communicate very hard the product, the timelines, the business concept, but it seems that we cant get the message across to the guys who are only thinking of their selfish motives:

     1.  To get a commission from big deal;

     2,   To sell other properties even if the one desired was not delivered;

2.  In  a deal, we were being rushed.  However, the necessary requirements , one of them would be available only by June 20.  We cant be rushed.

This post was following up a movie "Blood in Rome" and it is interesting to note how  bereft we are of strategies to get things done

1.  Most capos say when met by bosses, "I will take care of it"   You can count on me to finish the job.  How many can say that to your boss for sure.

2.  If you dont do it, I will kill you in front of your wife and children.  How cruel.  There is no room for deviation

5.  For the gang:   Lele, Aurelio and Spadino to have succeeded:

     1,  Kinship was very important, no matter what the background was

     2.  When separated from the group, one becomes vulnerable

     3.  When blackmailed, one can turn against the gang member.  But the loyal one never snitch

     4.  Ambition to be on top is the driving force for the gang

6.  Politicians run the govt, syndicates run the business in the street.  The religious are part of the business in the street.  The govt, the church and politicians run the country.   And it is not necessarily Mr. Clean
