Cheap foodstuffs for breakfast and snacks support those at the edges of society (laylayan ng lipunan)

Every generation needs a revolution - an entrepreneurial revolution

I still patronize the neighborhood carinderia that sells food, snacks, breakfast at the following prices:

                   Lugaw                                                                P10.00
                   Egg (boiled, fried)                                                12.00
                   Pancit  (Canton, Bihon, Malabon)                       15,00
                   Luglog, Spag                                                        15.00
                   Lumpia (togue and shanghai                                10.00
                   Lomi                                                                     15.00
                   Fried rice                                                              15.00

If you are used to P99.00 breakfast, a P299.00 dish in Manila resto, you find this shocking

We are thankful to the entrepreneurs, business owner who continue to serve these affordable dishes, to
alleviate the high prices everywhere.

Mabuhay kayo.   Happy independence day...

Retired at 65 - ensures that young blood perpetuates the race

Every generation needs a revolution - an entrepreneurial revolution

When I turned 65, my contract to teach at the GSB was no longer renewed.  No more teaching assignments.  No use arguing that when one gets older, ones faculty becomes dimmer.

In the other classes where there were senior teaching staff, there was much criticism on: the appearance, (probably even the smell - amoy lupa), the teaching methods, and old edition of their references.

Although there were inconsistencies (some senior colleagues stayed on) by and large most of the elderly were asked to stay at home once they were 65:   presidents, department heads, etc.

Such is the way so that only fresh more vigorous individuals carry the torch.   With more energy zeal and enthusiasm to carry the task.

A study was made regarding having the elderly run the community vs those run by young blood.   The latter scored well on many fronts.

Well anyway, we did our best when we were younger

Advice from former CEO and founder of Starbucks

Every generation needs a revolution - an entrepreneurial revolution

Howard Schultz is no longer the head of of Starbucks, nor part of its senior management.   He has comments on the Starbucks apps -j from where 31% of Starbucks orders are generated.   He warns against it, the business model of Starbucks being based on the experience of drinking coffee

He warns also against Starbucks growing arrogance, conservatism.   That it can not do anything wrong except being successful
