Why has Intel, the company formerly headed by Andrew Grove lagged in the microchip competition

Every generation needs a revolution - an entrepreneurial revolution

My favorite books before were those written by Andrew Grove, the outstanding CEO of intel.  Its departure from the Philippines probably marked its decline.

How come Intel is not in the top 20 of semiconductors despite having an outstanding list of CEOs.?

Probably they need Andrew Grove to lead it again, or somebody ape Andrew Grove.  The video said that
the innovation at Intel failed to be in the  developing markets:    crypto mining, gaming, AI, GPU

Top 20 corporations in the world, in last 30 years; new batch for next 30 years.

Every generation needs a revolution - an entrepreneurial revolution

Warren Buffet made a list of top 20 companies for the last 30 years, and a new list for next 30 years.  He noted the following stark differences:

1.  Those int the list for the last 30 years, did not make to the new list
2.   Their market cap of those since 1989 were in the billions;  in the new list, most are in the trillions
3.  Only Aramco TSMC are asset and resource based;   most have intellectual capital

This is a great lesson in investment where the world is going.   Before car factories, manufacturers, energy companies, banks  were the darling of investment.  Now computing and programming:   games AI will be the new next thing.

Where will you bet.?  Hence progress has left Japan and other progressive countries.  It has stayed at Silicon valley and USA

A different kind of Health Card (experimented in house)

Every generation needs a revolution - an entrepreneurial revolution

To take care of the health of our staff, we experimented having this kind of health card:

1.  We had contributory:    1:5 ratio.   For every 1 of employee we gave P5.00  If the employee resigns, he gets the P1.00;
2.  The rewards are for not getting sick:
      1.  If you get sick and have to use the card,  the employee premium rises by 10%; the employers does
           not;
      2.  The unspent employee fund for not getting sick is tallied and totaled:  it is a savings health card;
            unlike most health cards which are spend health card.
      3.  There is free med exam at the start of the year blood exam, ecg, etc to make sure you are healthy
      4.  There is PE every Saturday and this is funded by the Health Care fund

This made profit and had accumulated fund as surplus.  For one reason or another, Management discontinued this   SAYANG
