What went wrong with Philips? They gave up.

Every generation needs a revolution - an entrepreneurial revolution

Well, competition had something to do with this.  But they gave up.

Initially they became arrogant with their successes. And practiced monopolistic strategies rather than pushing innovation in technology,   Eg concentrating on tape rather than going along with DVD

This may be the trajectory for most successful companies.  The top execs who are old become crusty and short sighted.  They lose vision and enthusiasm and get tired and the best thing they could do is liquify the assets.   May be we can expect the same from say Apple or Samsung?

One of their mistakes was giving up on AMSL (formerly a backyard firm -  now a leader in chipmaking ) and TMSC.   TMSC is a $700 billion company.    They did as the commentator said a Xerox.

Sayang.  

Due to overspending on investment on chips.   Samsung in DRAM,  Samsong lost much on chip business.  

We want people in the team to move act, and solve problems

The latest addition to our team is an in law.  And I thought having worked before in a CBD and almost a decade in a development company, he would be a brilliant addition to the team.  How this post wished:

1.  That pacing of the work be faster;

2.  Reports more frequently

3.  Cooperates and proposes action and solution rather than highlighting problems

And for the rest of the team too.

We have problems all around us.  And this post does not want the team member to be problems too as additional obstacle. 

We want solutions, we want ACTION.  We want TEAMWORK AND UNITY

The agent was late; but the property he showed was nice

During the tripping and showing of properties before, they were mostly outright disappointing.  The access roads were two:   one from backroad, one is from main highway.  The property is more accessible from the newly built avenue.   

The soil was perfect  for our purpose.   The back end of the property is overlooking the lake and may make some of the units premium.   There is an additional two hectare property that may be had for jv. making the project total 5 hectares  for 10,000 units plus saleable.   We can reach  9 digits revenue for the 5 hectare project.

The people of this town will be happy that there will soon be a project here (it does not have) for their total population of 313K citizens.   

However, I still do not have docs and can not make an offer.
