The shrinking job market at US has forced many young workers to be on their own. The job stats in US (as in the PHL) could be misleading. Those who leave the job market (unemployed) could be actually start ups creating new jobs.
Thus, the crisis in the job market could actually be creating new opportunities for new businesses and entrepreneurship.
