Business Plan consultation with AGSB Clark Students

Angono Rizal | Philippines  | May 11, 2014

Mr. Jopet Pineda, the AGSB Clark Secretary planned a Business Plan consultation and it was held yesterday at Stackers at Annex of SM North.

However only 2 came:   Bong Canlas and Dr Tuazon.

I discussed with the two the usual problems with BP of the past class:
concept, the business model, objectives, (madalas kulang) the product (complete description of benefits - how they meet the customer wants and needs, competitive analysis, the beta testing if any) , the sales estimate -  you must really come out with an estimate based on macro and micro data, EDS (enteprise delivery system the whole works:  inputs, throughput, outputs, matching outcome the whole works just like the PDQ).  I mentioned this many times in this site.

As for Bongs business, using the BMI, he may add as I suggest:

to have a review center to recruit interns for his accounting firm;

to conduct how to seminars on basic accounting, handling BIR audit, to gather prospects for audit and accounting services.

the gravy would be in tax cases consultancy/negotiations with BIR

That would make his business unique in a sense.  No do not go into lending. It is not part of your strength.

As for Dr. Tuazon, he thinks of making his clinic and Lugawan a lessor of sorts for many commercial establishment that will complement his clinic and lugawan;  he will place his low cost hemodialysis center in the same place which will ramp up the traffic.  I suggested that he must in social entrep journey for the low cost hemodialysis, he must not only offer the P1,000 hemodialysis but still charge the full amount (market price) for those who can afford this.  He says that there is P500 hemodialysis in Davao but supported by foundation and the LGU

The two said that it is useful to have the consultation as it clarified further their thinking.  It is a pity that others did not make it.

Thanks guys for coming and asking.
