One of the concerns/fears for the forthcoming change at AGSB is that it will be under the Loyola Schools, and that AGSB will be under the Dean from Loyola.
First, we expect this to happen because the President announced at Canyon cove that there will be changes.
This arrangement, having all business schools, graduate and undergraduate is common in all schools: HBS, San Diego, etc. It makes for efficiency and more business for the school. The faculty for undergraduate and graduate would be one; there are common customers - those who are first time in business management learning those who want more. And then you have only one Dean managing the two schools instead of having two.
We teach about change and business reorganization, downsizing and we the business professors must be the first to embrace this.

What pisses you off at the school list getting longer and unacted upon
One of the NU 12 topics required of the Entrep students is what pisses them off: at the mall, at the neighborhood, office. Creativity is driven when there is a problem, or adversity. After all, a new product is a new solution to a problem.
Among those that are reported are those that piss them off the school. I ask the student to disguise their names so as not to offend anyone. They are graded accordingly but the list gets longer and the inaction remains. The posts/publications are not read. This means this is just an academic exercise and good management is just words at MBA.
I brought the complaints to those who can act on them and to no avail. The cap ex, structural problem is apparently being controlled by those who do not see/or aware of the problem. So much for creativity and change lessons
