Are you fond of high tech gadgets?   Do you pay more for your gadgets because of these myths?

1.  Pre used or refurbished are no good;  some are very very slighly used.

2. Premium cables are better  than ordinary cable (I was gypped  when I bought gold plated cable for the home theater set up)  there was no difference in performance.

3 Branded computers/laptops are better?  Same same;  the components are off the shelf;  the software may work better than others;

4.  Extended warranties are necessary.  They represent huge profits for the manufacturer or store but usually most of the time are not availed of.
