Every generation needs a revolution - an entrepreneurial revolution

Becoming an entrepreneur is sometimes synonymous  with becoming wealthy - a millionaire or even being a billionaire.   This is one entrepreneur coach who focuses on the basic.  His very first rule, focus strikes this post as odd.

How can one one becomes rich by being focused?    This is the same stuff being taught in communication - being focused attentive and reverent.   Well, it is being important that to be rich you do the following analysis:

                   1.  Force field analysis

                               Driving  Force                        Restraining force                   Result - being a millionaire

         

                       List down on each column the driving force and restraining force.  Try to have each of 

                       the driving force by sheer hard work, and determination (and even cunning)

                       And the same with restraining force.  We remove and eliminate most if not all of them

                2.  Cause  and effect, fishbone diagram

                      What are the 4ms:   manpower, money, methods and machinery that contribute to your                             becoming prosperous.   ADD if you do not have.  REMOVE IF OBSTACLES ARE ON

                      THE WAY. 

Looks like it is simple  But not many would have the focus nor the energy to do this.

The Lord Puts You Where He Needs You

Here I am Lord

"The Good Lord puts you where you are needed"

I heard this earlier when a newly appointed officer explained the circumstances behind his new appointment and as he welcomed his staff.  The Lord puts you where you are useful, and where you can use your gifts to do good to others.   Well and good.

However of late, I ran counter to the objectives of an organization and I had no choice:  either comply or quit.  I chose the later. Our middle managers can only say, no choice except to follow. Maybe the Good Lord has nice way of saying when its over and.it is time to quit.

The time to say goodbye to teaching entrepreneurship in a respectable institution has come to an end.  No amount of passion, no amount of rich content can guarantee success.

All good things has an end. And the Lord puts you where you are needed

Key learning from AGSB Iloilo guest entrepreneurs

What were the key take home points from the two guest entrepreneurs we had:   Felix Tiu and Buddy Silva?.

Felix Tiu emphasized the importance of opportunity -  opportunity must be just beside you or within your experience.  His plane seat mate was source of important information in business which he referred to his friends.   Travelling abroad let him know about automatic candy making machine.   His inability to sell a foreclosed asset let him in the real estate development business.  That is why if you see his business, they are diverse and may  be unrelated to one another because they were driven by availability of the opportunity.

Buddy on the other hand underscored the context, the importance of the why rather than the how, and the adaptability, the openness (context) of the entrepreneur towards content to let him understand new business and innovate.
