Bakery forced to find new location by transit project
After years of recreational baking, Jo-Ann Morlando and her daughter, Dominica Clementi, opened their own bakery business in 2004. They managed to stay in business during the recession, but their success was threatened by a plan to expand light-rail service in Charlotte, N.C. Study finds employee interest in performance-based pay

A minority of respondents said they thought they were receiving fair compensation for their work, the study found. A small Egyptian funereal statue dating to 1800 B.C. has been turning heads at a British museum ever since people noticed that it was slowly spinning to turn its back on visitors.
