This was the gift to the Entrep Guest - great idea class/Trizza
Ateneo Entrep
We had the last session of the Spentrep class. The entrep class of Regis (8 weeks) and the Spentrep (15 weeks) were almost co terminus.
For the last session we had:
1. #Entrepreneurs night (we had two guests)
2. The #Jeopardy Class game
3. Closing session.
4. Repeat of the Prof Class evaluation. (I noted though that there were 3 assessment of the prof on use of technology although the internet, the class assignments assignments submission, the social media usage - FB blog, links, was very much used. I need more ABE)
We had the opening song/prayer Pananagutan
1. Our entrepreneur guests were:
1. PJ Lanot, a restaurant owner, motivational speaker, voice actor, a TV host. A teacher of entrepreneurship He is an Ateneo graduate.
2. Katherine H. Ramolete - a teacher GM/owner of Tutorial Unlimited; she was born in Iligan City but grew up in Alabang and studied in San Beda . and UP. She is the fiance of the late brother of Rocky Gabatin
Katherine
Katherine motivated the class using Q and A methodology
She knows Jen Ursua who is also an educator with MA in Edu at her belt
PJ Lanot
A scholar, Graduated with Management Communication Technology from Ateneo Loyola
Once an Actor, a voice actor, a motivational speaker and a teacher of entrepreneurship
Merchant of hope for far flung areas of the Philippines; contributing to nation building
2. Jeopardy Classroom Quiz
An exam could be fun and invigorating; you learn much how the class did
Come on ladies, (Group 2) stay in the game!
Most of the time they were beaten to the beating of the table (we should have buzzers next time - use their androids?
This was conducted by Ms Jen Ursua. The plan for this was in the 10th session. As the student evaluation suggested, the class was poor in time management. Between cutting off student discussion in his presentation, wider latitude to give him more time was done, rather than strictly finishing on time. MBA method is for students to express themselves.
The class was very competitive. And Group 1 did not seem to be in the game. Group 2, and whose representative was Rocky Gabatin was very agressive and enthusiastic
3. Closing ceremony
We asked the students to say a few words about the class (of course they would say kind words). Rocky said there is still much to learn. Francis was the other speaker
The only one qualified for the award was Trizza the Class Secretary. She was very busy last night for the food, running errands. I thank her from the bottom of my heart. She made the handling of the class much easier while at the same time allowing her to exercise her management and leadership skills.
Thanks again Trizza.
The certificate of appreciation could not thank her hard enough
Then we had Ateneo A Song for Mary graduation song as the last part. As the song was played and waving their hands, I went around shook their hands and thanked them and wished them well. They were my children and my ward for 15 weeks.
God bless: Carlo, Rocky, Cri, Grace, Jen, Francis, Trizza and Zordialine
The class singing the graduation song, pumping fist into the air, Katherine joins
