30 best advice to start up entrepreneurs from First Round

From First Round - 30 best advice to entrepreneurs

This office is no longer behind start up ideas.   We are keeping up.  I am now having many materials/readings for start up.  I hope the Prof Jorge Entrep readers and students are keeping up and profiting from these ideas.

I came across the first round site and their 30 best advice to the entrepreneurs.  We are glad these are free.

More power to start ups.  More power to entrepreneurs.

"It is not about being successful, it is about making others become successful"

"Celebrate your wins "

"To inspire, tell a good story"

Having an organizational structure for a start up

Getting organized for a start up hypergrowth

You need to be organized for your start up.  In the beginning, there is only the founder.  But as you start having more people, you need in the organization.  You need people to hire people, train people, make products, make sure the system works, that your finances are in order:   suppliers are paid, salaries are paid on time.

You can get organized around a geography/territory, or around a product/customer segment.  PTM. Which one do you prefer?
